Symantec antivirus definitions not updating Reallifecam ph

About a month ago, the Virus Definition File version date stopped updating and hasn't updated since - 3/26/2012 rev. The automatic update has continued to run everyday, downloading the latest definitions, but not updating the version date in the client. Sometimes it downloads an update successfully and other times it says the virus definitions are up to date.If I run it again after a successful download, it will always say it's up to date.

)Could someone tell me if I've been using the i32 executable definition for 32-bit client installations all along and then try to run the x86 executable definition for 32-bit client installations would that cause a problem? When Liveupdate downloads it downloads completely but the version is still the same and the definitions don't actually install it still says 7/3/2009 rev 4. I have Personal Messaged you the script between the lines, look for the yellow envelope at the upper right hand side. Save the script as "CFScript.txt" is what you see on your desktop after saving. I even tried to manually install new definitions and it is still not working, malwayre bytes shows this \? (I am getting an "ntvdm encountered a hard error" when I try to).(The i32 executable does not produce this error only the x86 executable.)Is Symantec Anti Virus Scan Engine for Windows the same thing as the Symantec Scan Engine?
