That said, it is always a good idea to make a copy of your data to another device or similar before applying any firmware update – just in case…
Once you’ve download the firmware file from the Iomega site you are then all set to update it to the Iomega IX device.
To do this simply check/tick the ‘Copy Update File’ box, click the ‘Browse’ button and select the firmware file you just downloaded and click the ‘Next’ button to start updating the firmware.
